The GFR-3 features a built in test function that is initiated by depressing the Test push-button. The Test button will trip both the Ground Fault Relay and the Breaker while use of the No-trip button will only demonstrate the functioning of the Relay. To test only the Ground Fault Relay follow this four step procedure:

1. Depress and hold the No-Trip push-button, while doing this press the Test push-button and wait for the relay to trip
2. After the trip release the Test button
3. Push in the Reset button
4. Release the No-Trip push-button

NOTE: Please keep this instruction pamphlet in a location that is easily accessible to the Ground Fault Relay switchboard.

WARNING: DISCONNECT ALL POWER SOURCES BEFORE SERVICING THE RELAY. MORE THAN ONE LIVE CIRCUIT MAY BE PRESENT AT THE TERMINALS.
